Just a quick post today with some photos of the fresh looking True Touch Gooseberry glass bead by True Beadz.
Here they are with the True Beadz 2016 silver bead in the middle. The silver bead is such a great size to put in the middle of a bangle.
I really, really like it with the True Touch Stormy Heavens and the Milan Trollbead to pull it all together.
This Trollbeads unique I bought a few years ago also matches well.
Finally, I do like the look of Gooseberry with the Lilac shade of True Beadz and then the Mint/Lavender Trollbeads Armadillo, even though it’s not a perfect match. Even though I don’t have a lot of green beads this one is so happy looking! It makes me think of freshly mown grass and springtime. At Christmas time I think it will look fabulous with red for a festive look. Really, I think it will go nicely with a lot of colours, like white and blue.
Here’s the full line of True Touch colours.
Row 1 Stormy Heavens/Royal Viola/Purple Dream/Lilac/Taiga/Blue Mist
Row 2 Eastern Sea/And Quiet Flows the Don/Sky Blue/Baby Blue/Marmor/Princess Kiss
Row 3 Baby Pink/Strawberry/Terracotta/Pumpkin/Sunflower/Sunlight Spot
Row 4 Castle Stone/Dragon Green/Gooseberry/Linen/Siberia
Disclosure: For this blog I may receive some items as promotional samples.
These are gorgeous combinations, the last three especially, and you know how I love purple and green together! The combination with your Trollbeads Unique is so simple but so effective.
I am looking forward to choosing a few True Touch to my collection thanks to your wonderful photos and beads.

Shame on you! I don’t even like green or wear it, but the way you have put it with the purple is so perfect and beautiful! I’m saving my $$ for the truebeadz sale in September at Greatlakes. My wishlist keeps growing. . . And growing. . .

Oh my goodness, I wish I could go, that would be my dream!! Ohm, and True, and Troll, oh my!!! I live in Oklahoma so it would be quite a trip. I think it would be worth it to save up and fly out for it though. Maybe next year! I would love to meet Julia and her Husband and some of the Ohm team. And I can’t think of better company than fellow bead friends! Are you able to make the trip? I would love for you to blog about it.

I love the Gooseberry color! I have both the Touch and the Taste. Your green and purple bracelet is so pretty. That’s one of my favorite color combos, and always makes me think of lilacs. I like the combo with Milan a lot too. Very dramatic!

Kim, I’ll have to go through your IG pictures to see if I can see your Gooseberry beads! I think the combo with the Milan will be nice for the fall, a bit dramatic, as you say.

The Gooseberries were on my Asian bracelet from last weekend. I don’t have much on my feed yet, but have several bracelets made up, so I’ll try to take some more pictures this week! 🙂

Very pretty, Martha! I like the True Touch with the striations in them, Gooseberry look like they have nice ones. The only Touch I have so far is Marmor which I really like. The purples and greens look so striking together!

Thanks Natalie! I love the striations too and that’s what first attracted me to the Marmor. I’m not sure why purple and green look so nice together, but I sure love them.

Thank you, Natalie! The effect you like appears because of copper that is in most types of blue/green/turquoise glass. But some of it can also be seen on the Princess Kiss Touch and I can not really say why, it is not supposed to have a lot of copper

So interesting Julia, I didn’t know it was due to copper! I thought it was just the way you made them 😀

I love True Beadz but I have a question about the Touch finish. It doesn’t look like glass so do you know how it is made? Isn’t it more fragile than other glass beads?
Anyway the colour is lovely and your bracelets are great as usual.

I’m afraid I have no idea how it’s made but I’ll ask Julia to answer that. They are just like any other bead in terms of being durable, in my opinion. I carried two Lilac Touch ones around Asia in my backpack for a month last summer without any problem.

Hi Alexandra! Thank you for your question!
Touch are also made of glass. They go through the same process as other beads, I mean they are all kiln annealed, etc, but as the last step a special finish is applied that takes away the gloss. So it is still glass but the surface is not shiny. The only thing that differs Touch from other beads when you wear them is that they may become “dirty” a bit faster, because of their unusual surface. But it should not be a problem, you just wash them or wipe with a wet cotton cloth and as they dry they have their original look. And by the way, when you put them in water, they look glossy!

Thanks a lot. I have a couple of True Touch and it looked so different from the usual beads that I got curious.
I love your brand and the colours you create. Keep going 🙂
