A few years ago Ohm Beads made some limited edition Holiday Drinks glass beads and ever since then people, myself included, have been clamouring for the same beads but in the barrel shape. Left to right below are Cold Milk, Hot Chocolate, Mulled Cider and Eggnog ($35 USD/ $45 CAN). The spacers are the new Typos that come in every letter of the alphabet. ($30 USD/ $40 CAN)

My favourite of the Holiday Drinks is Cold Milk and I bought an extra one so I could have a pair. I used my old Cold Milks all the time as they are such a nice, pure white. I have a few beads that lend themselves to be framed by white such as the Trollbeads Silver Lining, The Diamond Bead in White and Blooming Sakura in the bottom right. For the bangle in the bottom left I put Eggnog in the middle with a couple of Christmas Pandora dangles.

The Cold Milk beads look spectacular with red. We went to the Santa Claus Parade in our city on the weekend and I made up this combo for it. The red bead on the bottom is the Broken Heart from the fall release and the red one with white spots is an older one called Nuts & Berries.

Here’s a full Ohm Beads bracelet, incorporating the older Cold Milks. I really like the white with the dark wood and I also like these warm honey and cider colours that Ohm Beads is making.

Below left to right are Paula the Red Panda, old Cold Milk, Bar Brawl, Bolly Wood, Tom the Dead and Eggnog.

Below left to right after the Eggnog are the new Cold Milk, Hot Chocolate, Cold Milk, Mulled Cider and some Typos.

Below left to right after the Typos are Bolly Wood, Incremental Change, old Cold Milk and My Precious

Lastly, the Holiday Drinks are perfect for making a bangle with the Sugar Sleigh Ride 2.0! This is a really nice cohesive set. I’m a big fan of glass kits where the beads look good together because I feel like I can make an instant bracelet and these don’t disappoint. I tried them out with orange beads and red beads but couldn’t get any to work well so thought they looked best with the warm honey or brown tones. Has anyone else been enjoying these beads or are they on the list? Coming up Wednesday is Tom the Dead on a psychedelic coloured bracelet.
