I’ve been having a hard time taking bead photos with four boys in tow-husband, two sons and my brother. However, yesterday we were at Animal Kingdom and I said, “I’m going to take a minute for a bead photo!” LOL!!
The Tree of Life is amazing. You have to look closely to see all the carvings.
Outside the entrance at Animal Kingdom are the most beautiful palm trees. Anyone from the south will laugh, I’m sure, but I always am in love with the colour of the palm fronds.
The Christmas tree is quite fabulous too. There are gigantic Christmas trees at all the parks that are decorated by theme.
The theming is incredible. Here is a view of one of the sections of ‘Africa’. There is lots of entertainment too. We saw Festival of the Lion King, a sitar player and African drummers.
I tried to take photos on the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. It’s super bumpy, but I got a photo with an elephant.
So here is a better photo of the bracelet. It’s the Winter Wonder Kit, a couple of Pearls, a couple of Pink Prisms, a Blossom Shade and some small silver beads. I’m really liking the small silver beads these days. β€ They are Quiet Flower, top left and then Pumpkin Ornament, Freedom Feather and Aztec.
Lastly, here it is in the sun. Today I get some time at Epcot all by myself as the boys are going golfing and I will take some photos of the Pandora bead I bought. Epcot has the most beautiful flowers, so it will be a post with lots of flower shots. πΈ Happy New Year!

Hugs to you too, Carla and Happy New Year! Are you going to a party? Bangle would be perfect! I am no fashionista, I’m afraid, but I’d be tempted to wear a simple black or white beads with silver combo. Have fun!

I really think you should publish a book with all of your Beads and Travel photos and blog posts. They are so much fun and so beautifully evocative. I will never get to travel to all of the places you have, but I just love looking at your wonderful photos and reading all the memories which you share with us all.
The carved tree is a marvel and your gorgeous Trollbeads bracelet is grand. It can stand up against even an actual elephant. Thank-you again for a great post!

Thanks Sarah. I am so happy that you enjoy these different kind of beads posts. I have a photo of the bracelet with a gorilla and was even going to call the post, Trollbeads and the Gorilla, but when I previewed it on my iPad the photo looked pretty fuzzy. Oh well! π

I hate to comment again on the scenery before the beads, but it’s hard not to when it looks so gorgeous there! I bet I could spend an hour or more just looking at the carvings in that tree π
It’s interesting how well the Winter Wonder kit also does in the “African heat!” I hadn’t really considered it outside of the holidays, but you have really shown that it would also work so perfectly in the summer π

I would also love to spend time looking at the carvings, as there are over 300 animals carved into the tree! With kids in tow I’ve never really been able to, I’m afraid, but I’m sure you can understand.
I think I’m going to try to find ways to use the Winter Wonder Kit year round. This bracelet I really don’t want to take apart and I’m going to wear it for the sad, dreary drive back to Canada. π
