In the clearing, the fairies are dancing, celebrating that spring is soon to be in the air, bringing hope and joy. Anything is possible- life is an adventure.
The Trollbeads Spring Collection called Kindred Spirits will be available from Trollbeads (affiliate link) starting February 17th. Today I’ve got live pictures of everything in the collection. It started to snow while I took the photos, so you might see the odd snowflake! I must say that I really, really like this collection. I love the theme of fairies and flowers and think the glass kit is so unusual and pretty. The slender fairies are like little silver sculptures and so elegant. It’s been an absolute pleasure for me to get to play with these beads.

These little guys work beautifully on a Fantasy Necklace. I will wear them one at a time, it’s just that it was -2C and my fingers were getting really cold so I stacked them up together!

Take the risk and make a change.
These two fairies are $116 USD/ $134 CAN. They can be used on the Neck Bangle or on the Leather Necklace, as pictured here.

Here is a photo with all the silver pieces so you can get a feeling for the sizes.
Finally, here are a few more photos. My early favourites are the whole glass kit, Rhythm Drum, Social Circle, the spacers and the Fairy of Nature. I can’t wait to use them. I would love to hear which pieces are on your wishlist, so please do leave a comment!
Disclosure: For this blog I may receive some items as promotional samples.
Love your photos, thank you! Live pictures are so helpful to understand color, size and design from different angles. I pre-ordered Love & Laughter, Soulmates, Once Upon a Time, Water Lilly family, Social Circle and Balance Lilly lock. Down the road, I could see adding the Water Lilly lock, Water Lilly spacer and Fantasy Hibiscus.

Sounds like there are quite a few pieces you like, Elise! Social Circle is a bead that I’m looking forward to seeing how people use. I really like it placed at the end of a bracelet, as seen in the photo of the mini bracelet on the glass plate. The Water Lily Spacer is just so sweet on its own and wouldn’t three on a bangle be lovely!

Hi Martha, I just noticed how you have Social Circle at the end of the bracelet. I can’t tell if it’s hooked to the lock somehow or if it sits that way. Whichever it is I’m now adding it to my wishlist.

Yes, it’s just sitting at the end of the bracelet and I thought it looked really cute there! It’s not hooked to the lock. I can’t wait to sit down and play with it, as I bet there will be lots of ways to use it.

Yes, three Water Lilly spacers would be great!

What a beautiful presentation of this great collection, Martha! I’ve ordered the glass in multiples, as well as some silvers. I’m sure I’ll want more……:)

Ooo…the glass in multiples will be fabulous! The nice thing about this kit is that any live pictures I’ve seen of it look just like the stock photos, so people who have to order online should be pleased with what they get. Thanks for commenting!

I purchased online from live images, which is a happier outcome , for me anyways. 🙂

The glass is so beautiful I wouldn’t mind having the entire set. Usually there might be one or two pieces that I like out of a kit, but in this case I like all of them. For the silver, I would love to get the Rhythm Drum, the Water Lily spacer and either one of the locks would be nice (or both!) I look forward to seeing your photographs and bracelet designs. I find that the live photos are very helpful… I’ve purchased a couple of beads in the past that looked much larger in the stock photo than they really we’re.

Correction… Than they really were ( stupid auto correct!)

I feel the same way about the kit, Suzanne, I like them all, too. The more I look at Rhythm Drum the more I think it will be my favourite and it’s certainly a nice price. Maybe next week I’ll do a blog post on different combos with the new spacers, as I think they are really sweet.

I’ve already purchased the glass kit, so I will have to pace myself, but I absolutely love the balance Lily lock for it’s leaf detail, so graceful, and I’m not usually a lock person. I also LOVE the spacers and social circle. One caveat, I don’t know why, but as a newbie I am sometimes frustrated with the detail abstraction in pieces like in Take a Chance. Maybe it’s because my eyes are going from staring at a tiny screen all the time, and I usually love abstract art, but my brain wants to make out the details and sometimes I just can’t figure out what I’m looking at. Overall a lovely collection! I must pick up a peach moonstone too since it works so beautifully with the glass.

Thanks so much, Tanya! It was a great excuse to go buy some flowers as a backdrop.
Aren’t the spacers just fabulous? They make me think of spring and summer and seeing fish and plants in a pond. Really, just a decorative spacer on a bangle and I’m good to go. I know that on Instagram I’m often wearing 3 bracelets, but around the house it’s usually just one. I shall look forward to seeing your photos of your glass kit when it arrives!

Thanks April! The Soulmates bead is such a lovely, springlike colour. It would be nice to have it as a way to end winter. I’ll have to check the news to see if you got a lot of snow on the east coast!

Such a lovely Spring preview, Martha! I am definitely interested in Soulmates, Perfect Moments, and perhaps, Chances. The other glass beads are lovely, but not quite my style. I see that you have styled some of the glass with Malachite and Amazonite! I was thinking of incorporating those beads into a design as well! I’m also quite fond of the Hourglass and Rhythm Drum. Trollbeads does such an amazing job with these smaller silver beads!
We had a major snowstorm today! School is cancelled for tomorrow as well! Sometimes, it’s nice to be snowbound! We all deserve a snow day once in awhile!❄️💚😘

Hi Carol! So glad you like some of the beads. I agree that Trollbeads does an amazing job with the smaller beads. They make such nice little accents at the end of bracelets or on a bangle.
I am somewhat envious of your two snow days in a row! It’s so nice to stay inside and be all cozy and lazy! Enjoy!

Thank you very much for your pictures Martha 🙂
they are so beautiful and it really helps to see life pictures.
Actually I wouldn’t need any lock, but both of the new ones attract me, specially the Balance Lily Lock. Can you please tell me what you think about the fact that the 2 “carabiners” are in the same direction, as usually they are “perpendicular” (difficult to explain… hope you understand…)
Mabe it is a weird idea, but I’m afraid that the lock look a little bit like eyeglasses… 😉 And does it lay flat on the wrist or does it sometimes turn so the fine side rises perpendicular to the wrist ? So many questions… and difficult to explain with my bad english… sorry !

Cathy, your English is wonderful! I understand what you are saying about the lock. I just wore it now while having my breakfast and it did lay flat. It might flip around to the other side but the flat side is also pretty. I will likely wear it as a mini bracelet with the lock on the top of my wrist so I can see it. 🙂

Thank you Martha, when you’ll have more experience with the lock, I would be happy to know about your feelings 😉

What a great preview of this new collection! So much good content here! It really helps to formulate our wish lists. Since I have quite a few beads and try to be very selective at this point I’d say I would most like to have the Balance Lily Lock and Water Lily Spacer. I also like the Water Lily Family, Moonlight Dancing, and Bumpy Ride. The glass is beautiful, but not in my favorite color palette. Once again, Martha, thanks for a beautifully done pictorial review!

My pleasure, Dawn. The more I look at the silver pieces, the more I really like Moonlight Dancing. It’s a substantial size yet very graceful and elegant. I will admit to purchasing two more Water Lily Spacers because I really, really want to wear three spaced out on a bangle. I think it will be super pretty!
