While I’m still waiting for my daffodils to grow, I thought I’d share photos of the Trollbeads Daffodil Tassel that I bought a couple of weeks ago. It’s been below freezing for the past few days, so the daffodils are still at the beginning stage of growth. That green bead below in the middle is also new to me, called Earth. It’s really bright, but I like that!
The tassel is so pretty. I’m quickly becoming a huge fan of faceted glass. It’s $87 USD/$100 CAN.
The opening on the circle part is large enough that it will fit on a Pandora bracelet, if you wish.
I like it on my Trollbeads Black Leather Necklace.
Or on the Neck Bangle, in between the Dancing and Magic Fairy Pendants.
Next up is the tassel on a large bracelet. This was an experiment to see how a bracelet would look with mainly small silver pieces. I’m still undecided on it. π€
Here’s what it looks like on, with a bangle and a cluster of Water Lily Spacers.
Next up is the Daffodil Tassel on the Green Leather bracelet that is part of the Spring Starter Bracelet deal. I did a blog post on that back here. If you are in the USA, you can browse the deals on the Trollbeads website here (affiliate link). I took this photo below when it was -7C out, just to give you an idea of how photos can be deceiving, as I think it looks like it’s warm and sunny here!
I got the Green Leather bracelet with the Summer Flowers bead, as you already know.
And then I took off the Summer Flowers bead and tried to build a bracelet around it for Saturday. I love the result! I thought that the stems of the little flowers lent themselves to the brownish tones and the leaves have that olive green tone that the Aqua Edge beads have, on either side of it. That’s it for today! I don’t think my next post will be until next Tuesday as I’m playing the Poulenc Gloria (ob.2/Eng hn) over the next couple of days and there won’t be much time for bead photos. I think I’ll make up some combos with the Chamilia Beads I got on sale. Have a great weekend everyone!
I like the daffodil tassel best on the green leather. The last bracelet was my favorite photo of today’s blog entry – the soothing colors are very pleasing to me. Have a great weekend!

I like it a lot on the green leather, too. Yeah, I’m wearing the last bracelet right now. Have a great Friday, April!

They are all beautiful (natch), but the last one is really up my street. Muted, but still alive with color. Really lovely!

Thanks Samantha! I made it up at the end of yesterday and thought I’d throw it in the mix. It’s fun to try to build a bracelet around one bead and I haven’t done that for a while.

Hii Martha,
I love bright bold colors and am so drawn to your use of always mixing a million colors and always making it look good π love the first pic and the green leather ( is two green leathers btw -it seems to wrap around so many times?)
I also luv the cutie rabbit and eggs combo bracelet — U r def ready for Easter

Hi Alex! The green leather is one bracelet, but it wraps around twice, so you see four strands all together. I can’t wait for Easter! I have all kinds of ornaments that my Aunt sent over from Germany a long time ago and I make an Easter tree using twigs. Have a great weekend!

Do all the leathers come huge and then you have to cut them and add the lock?
Ohh I love that idea, will you post a pic of it on your blog for us when it has been completed ?

Sure! Regarding the leather bracelets, hey come in three sizes and then you can cut some of the holes off if you want. They stretch a bit after a while. I wear the Medium and then end up cutting off a couple of holes after a year or so.

Hi Martha, I like it best on the green leather bracelet also. I’m going to need to get the green leather and the pink and yellow leather bracelets. I have the retired red leather one and I thought it was enough, but now it isn’t! On your Pandora bangle could you please tell me what the bead is between the bunny and the bird nest ( which I love by the way).

Hi Suzanne! That’s a Confetti Upchuck bead by Ohm Beads. I think it’s hard to find now as it’s retired. I just now looked at Perlen and D4E and don’t see it anymore, sadly.

Thanks for looking for it Martha. Confetti Upchuck! Weird name for a pretty bead, but I guess that’s Ohm for you.

Just in time for Spring! What pretty colors! I am drawn to your last bracelet because of the earthy colors, but love the brighter ones as well. The bunny and nest are adorable. I’m glad you showed the Balance Lily Lock as I think I’m picking one up at the Uptown Shop Bead Blow Out on Sunday with a free bracelet. Neat idea to cluster your Water Lily Spacers! I have always liked faceted glass and gemstones, particularly checkerboard or pineapple cut as it adds such beautiful detail. I’d also love to see a photo of your Easter tree; glad Alex requested that. Have a wonderful working weekend! We’ll be looking forward to your next post!

Dawn, how wonderful that you’ll be getting the Balance Lily Lock! It’s really like a small piece of art, isn’t it? I think we’ll get out the Easter decorations next weekend. Mine are probably 35 years old or so and very lovely, all made out of wood. Have fun on your shopping trip on Sunday!

Love the last bracelet Martha! Can you tell me what the two beads are on each side of the left Truebeadz green (the wavy brown and skinny silver)? Thank you!

Hi Holly! Those are both Trollbeads. The silver one is called Lotus Top and the wavy brown one is an old one called Dew Drops. It’s quite pretty and is very golden looking in the sun!

I think that my favourite is it on the Pandora bracelet, although every time I see your green Trollbeads bracelet I’m reminded how lovely a colour it is! Perhaps I need to add it to my wishlist (assuming that I can find it)!

Hi Tracy, yeah, the green is very fresh looking for spring. I see Trollbeads Gallery still has it but only in the small size, which is probably yours anyway. There’s the Spring Starter package, but you maybe don’t need the lock.
