It’s all about the flowers today, even though we are in the midst of winter where I live in Canada. The snow is blowing about and it’s really cold outside, but I thought I’d try a couple of combos using the Katniss Pendant ($55 USD)…
…and the Rose Spacer ($45 USD).
The Rose Spacer is great for using between a couple of glass beads, especially ones in a solid colour, as it is pretty decorative.
I also like it on the end of a bangle.
I’ve seen it used on a Fantasy Necklace a fair amount, also. The silver bead below is the Fantasy Hibiscus. It’s quite small and I usually use it at the top of a Fantasy Necklace, but here I put it under the Rosa Pearl.
The Katniss Pendant is so sweet by itself on a Fantasy Necklace, as I showed in my Enchanted Forest Collection blog post here.
It would hang perfectly on a Chain Necklace but I don’t have one, so fashioned this using the Changeable Fantasy Necklace. The silver piece just above it is the lovely Apple Blossom Pendant.
Since the Katniss Pendant has two loops on the back, I tried it on a Green Leather Bracelet. I really like this look!
This look is pretty simple and clean looking, I think.
Here’s my favourite combo, though. I don’t want to take this apart!

Hi Pam! So going left to right on the top are Blossom Shade, the new Stardust Stripe and a Pink Prism. On the top are another Pink Prism and a bead from the almost impossible to find Kimono Kit. Glad you enjoyed the ideas!

The Katniss pendant is really beautiful. You came up with some great ideas. I love the last bangle combo and the green leather one. But I think my favorite is the one on the changeable fantasy necklace with the apple blossom pendant above it. That one is a gorgeous explosion of flowers – very welcome on a gray winter day!

Hi Kim! It’s very gray here also and I haven’t even looked out the window to see how much snow we got overnight. I really like the necklace with the Apple Blossom Pendant also. Funny how silver flowers, even though they have no colour, can really cheer us up!

It is, isn’t it? ☺ Yesterday I wore my True Beadz Russian pendant I won in the Facebook contest last summer. Ivory and black with a beautiful flower design, and that helped to cheer me up. I think I’ll try to rig my necklace to take a True Beadz dangle as a pendant today and use the big Russian bead with that.

I really like the asymmetrical presentation on the two bangles with the pearls and other spring glass. I have never seen anyone put together anything like that before and the effect is quite pleasing… now I want one. You are the best advertisement that Trollbeads has. I always get a kick out of seeing your photos showing up on the official Trollbeads web page.
