Disclosure: For this blog I may receive some items as promotional samples.
How exciting to see this pop up when I am filling out my children’s endless school forms. Lovely review Martha, always enjoy your photos and combinations the best! The scarecrow, train, Ratatoskr and maple leaves top my list for the silvers, as well as the fox tail lock and spacers-I just love the latter’s texture and simple lines. I like the witches shoes, but I’m not sure how often I’d wear them. The glass is less exciting to me, though warm breeze, mountain climb and festival are stand outs. I’m interested in the stones, but definitely want to see more live images for variation. For critics of the hematite, I do think the reflective nature of the Stone offers something more interesting that a flat black, which can sometimes be too intense. The hair items are also interesting, though I rarely have time to style my hair these days, let along put together a bead combo for it! Thanks for the lovely bead photos to dream about 🙂

Hi Tanya! I also really love the Foxtail Lock and Spacer. I think I’ll buy a another spacer so I can have a pair as I think I would use them a lot of either side of a glass bead. The Scarecrow is a bead I think can be worn for the entire fall season, so I do like that aspect. Funny, this year I only had to fill out two forms so far for my kids! 😀

Thanks for the review. This is a mixed bag for me. It’s nice to see the different themes. However I really need to see the glass for myself – because at the moment not particularly excited by it, especially the faceted beads.
The silver works better for me, l like the spacers, maple leaf and the locks. But then we get to the hair pieces… Really?? 🤔

I would be interested to hear what you think after seeing the faceted glass in person. I think I will mostly wear them individually as they are quite busy. The leaf bead is really cute! I hear you about the hair pieces though.

Thank you Martha for this preview of the upcoming Autumn Collection. Maybe I will change my mind after seeing them in person, but at this time I’m not blown away (like I was last year).

Hi April! Last year was definitely a special year. I still go gaga over that faceted kit. You’ll have to let me know what you think of the beads once you see them in person. I have really been enjoying the Drift Away glass kit as it is very cohesive in its colours.

Yup! I will check them out in person and make an informed decision at that time. 👍

The glass don’t catch my eye as much as previous releases and I definitely don’t see what they see in most of them. Harvest looks very much like a soccer ball to me. 😀
The locks are lovely, but I find myself wearing bangles so much more often now that I really don’t need another lock. Otherwise I would be quite tempted. But I really do like the hematite and the Ratatoskr is pretty interesting!
I’m disappointed in the maple leaves. I’m not sure if it’s the curve of the bead that loses some of the design or if the actual design is off, but they don’t look like maple leaves at all to me! The top tip looks far too stretched out to me.

Tracy, I was wondering if you and Mars would like the Ratatoskr. It’s a very interesting piece in that to me when I look at the one side I think of Pacific Islander masks. Strangely, I am reminded of that episode on The Brady Bunch when they go into that cave in Hawaii. 🤷🏻♀️ That makes no sense, I know. I’ll send you a video of the Maple Leaves as my photos don’t do it justice.

If I had the means , I would buy both kits, as they are each so rich and intriguing. I’m crazy about the faceted ones. I like the leaf Spacer and the sweet scarecrow. There is so much to choose from and your photos make them all so desirable, as ever. I’m excited the the earthy new semi-precious bead, the Angel Wing Alunite, and look forward to seeing them in person when I go shopping on the 16th. My Trollbeads list is never ending and I’m not sure how healthy it is to lust after beads!

Your images are so exciting! I definitely prefer last year collection, but I love some glass beads in this one. I like Mountain Climb, Harvest and Drifting Balloons and two faceted Festival and Lonely Island which I think would be lovely with the Alunite stone. I also like the Foxtail Spacer , I can imagine it on a bangle! And I adore the Witch Shoes which is absolutely my favourite silver of this collection! Thank you Martha, have a great weekend:)))

Hi Roberta! I pretty much like exactly the same pieces as you, which is no surprise. I just ordered another Foxtail Spacer because I would love to have a pair to use on a bangle. I look forward to seeing what pieces you buy!

Hi Martha, I love all your photos from different angles, it really gives me a good idea of what the beads are like. I ordered Mountain Climb and Lonely Island because I think they will work well with other Fall beads. I have a special affinity for the 2017 release, too…and I will enjoy mixing these 2018 ones in with those. Have a nice week!
