Today I’ve got some pictures of silver beads from The Netherlands, made by Margo of Argo Studios. They are sold on her website and at several retailers which you can find here. The beads have a lot of texture and are quite different from other beads I have. They really work well as stand alone pieces and I don’t feel the need to add much else to them, as there is plenty for the eye to look at.

The Frost bead is perfect for Canadians like me. We spend a fair amount of time in the mornings scraping ice and frost off of our cars! This photo was taken against my car window one morning.

I love the gracefulness of the frost on this barrel shaped bead.

As always, a video is really the best way to see a bead.

Next is the adorable Secret Garden bead. This was one of my favourite books growing up and I found my old copy in the basement!

The details are quite exquisite.

Look at the little bird!

Here’s a video of the Secret Garden bead.

Bear With Me is next and it has moveable limbs. I like how the bear sits and quite frankly might just keep him sitting near my bead cube!

Here’s how it looks on my wrist but it works well on a necklace also.

The bear has a large bow in the back and that it how he attaches to things. I wore him on a Pandora necklace as the opening is large enough.

This Silver Dancing Cranes is also quite gorgeous. I love how the crane’s neck is gracefully curving inwards.

Last but not least is the fabulous Chateau Margaux. I’ve long had my eye on this one as I’ve seen it quite a bit on Anne Gautier’s social media.

The reverse side is absolutely stunning.

So, that’s it for today and I hope you enjoyed this look at these gorgeous beads. I feel very fortunate to get to wear them. Are any of them beads you already own or do you have any Argo Studios beads on your wish list? Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
