…and Superhero Bead. Let’s start with the pretties! I sat down and had some fun playing around with the Sunrise Kit plus some Labradorites, Peacock Pearls and another Grey Moonstone that I bought from Trollbeads.com. They came in this cute box and there was a polishing cloth too.
Inspired by ladies like Laura (@evepink123) on Instagram I’m making it a new mission to collect the Flowers of the Month beads. One thing I’m noticing on Instagram is some diehard Pandora collectors are starting to dip their toes into the world of Trollbeads and I think these silver and pearl beads would appeal as they are very feminine. Left to right are Violets of February, Rose of June, Daffodils of March and Snowdrop of January.
Let’s take a quick recap of the Sunrise Kit. Below left to right are Flowers of Elegance, Drops of White, White Tulips, Roots of Wisdom, Flowers of Grace and Dragonfly on Silk.
First I tried the four beads that are more neutral with the Labradorites that I bought.
Then, using the two brighter beads I made up a different bracelet. I got some my older silver beads out of a case and polished them up.
Below left to right are Capsule of Life Spacer, The Diamond Bead Amber, Mom’s Bouquet, Gold Silver Trace, Tropical Travels and the Trollbeads Day 2017 bead.
Below left to right after the Golden Rutilated Quartz are Seed Pods, Dragonfly on Silk, Sea Shore, Mountain Climb, Sea Shore, Flowers of Grace, Dancing Butterly and an Amber Unique.
Below left to right are Moonlight Dancing, Gold Silver Trace, Lush Meadow, Golden Cave, Capsule of Life Spacer and Lush Meadow Lock.
Next I went back to the neutrals and added in the Peacock Pearls. The top two have quite the deep purple colouring and are really pretty. And can I just say I am looking forward to the spring? It’s not pleasant trying to take photos outside when it’s below freezing. 😀
I put this next bracelet together while I was outside in fact and so if it looks thrown together that’s because it was! I was just sticking beads on there as fast as my frozen fingers could fly and not trying to ‘design’ it at all. The glass beads added in here are two Rainbow Bridges and a Blue Desert I think, but I’m afraid I have forgotten which is which. 🤦🏻♀️I think the Blue Desert is the one at the bottom. And yes, it then seems wrong that the other two are both Rainbow Bridges, but I do think they are. When that bead came out there was a huge amount of variation.
Lastly, I wanted to see what it would look like to add in some more purple/pink tones, so I’ve used two Sea Anemones and a unique I recently bought. I still can’t decide if I like this or not.
This pink and purple bracelet worked out pretty well though.
On Sunday it was time to make up some bangles. I like these for grabbing to wear on the way to work!
Ok, now to the Superhero bead that comes out February 22. It’s not my kind of thing and I would only put it on leather as it does flip down but I wore it for a full day and it did not snag on anything. I think it’s much smaller than the stock image suggested.
That’s all for today. Do let me know if you see anything you like here!
Disclosure: For this blog post I may receive some items as promotional samples.
Really beautiful combos, Martha! I think they all look amazing!
And I’m with you on the super hero bead… really not my thing at all. But your leather bracelet with it is spot on!

Yes, it’s funny. I know a lot of people don’t like it. But Jenny at OHM always says there is someone who will like something that I don’t like. Her voice is always in the back of my head. LOL!!

I think your sunrise/labradorite/anemone bracelet is stunning! Beautiful contrasts here between the muted grays and the pinks.

Thank you! I might look for one or two really pale Sea Anemones and see how they look added in. I like these colours together too!

What beautiful bracelets! Seeing them makes me quite jealous as I live in a country that has one store (store within store) selling Trollbeads and I love them! The only store in Israel (where I live) has a limited range only and they don’t keep up to date from what I can see. Do you recommend any reputable dealers who sell on the Internet? I would love to update my small collection. Judy

Hi Judy! Retailers I have used over the years include diamonds4ever.dk in Denmark, Blooming Boutique in the USA and there’s also Great Lakes Boutique in the USA. The second two have good live images where you can choose exactly which bead you want. Glad you enjoyed the bracelets!
