The original OHM Twisted Bangle was my favourite bangle for years. With its oval shape, it fits beautifully on the wrist and then the hook closure ensures it won’t fall off. It’s no wonder they are coming out with a new version on November 5 and this one is even more versatile since it will fit small cored beads, such as Trollbeads. Also, a variety of stoppers from brands like OHM, Trollbeads, True Beadz and Redbalifrog fit on it very easily. This picture below shows the bangle with True Beadz stoppers, two glass beads from OHM and in the middle, a Trollbead.

OHM also sent a few beads for me to check out like the Sugar Sleigh Ride 3.0. I used it at Canadian Thanksgiving, because it has Tom the Turkey hanging on for dear life. I love the concept of it signifying the beginning of the busy holiday season.

It looks like OHM Gnome is going along for the ride instead of Santa this time!

A recent art project featured some cube shaped beads that were designed by Thai artists. This one is called The Leopard That Shines Like a Gem, designed by Hifly. From the OHM website:
Hifly envisioned glass beads that captured the essence of the leopard, combining contrasting colors harmoniously and featuring the distinctive leopard pattern. Each glass bead, akin to a precious gem, embodies the splendor and magnificence of the leopard, reflecting its inherent value.

I like how the colours are very brilliant.

All glass beads have variation, of course, but here’s a video of the one I received.
Lastly, the glass bead called Ethereal Tribute has some glitter and touches of a peacock’s plumage. The colours are perfectly matched with some older OHM Beads that I bought when I first started collecting.

This bead is so pretty in the sun.

That’s all for today! With the new Twisted Bangle being able to fit small core beads is it something you might consider buying? Let me know in the comments!
This is a smart move on Ohm’s part. My current twisted bangle is pretty much limited to Ohm Beads. I understand the desire to have a proprietary bangle/bracelet, but bead lovers like to mix and match their favorite brands.

I totally agree with you. In the winter, I’m not keen on wearing open bangles like the Troll one because I’m constantly taking my coat off/putting it on for my job because I’m teaching outside for 3 periods a day. I’m always afraid it will fall off without me noticing. This opens up a lot of possibilities!

Hi Rita,
According to the OHM website, the bangles are in these sizes:
XXS wrist up to 15 cm (5.9 in)
XS wrist up to 16.5 cm (6.5 in)
S wrist up to 17.5 cm (6.9 in)
M wrist up to 18.5 cm (7.3 in)
L wrist up to 20.5 cm (8.1 in)
XL wrist up to 21 cm (8.3 in)
My wrist is 17.5 cm but because I like to wear more than one bead, the M is perfect for me. Hope that helps!

Hi Martha,
It’s been awhile since I left a comment.
I did take advantage of OHM’s promo and bought the twisted bangle 2.0 version which came with two free glass beads. I couldn’t pass that up. I am loving that you can add other brand beads on it. For sizing- My wrist size is 6.5, I ended up buying the medium – next time I will get the small. The medium will hold a lot of beads, and still fit loosely on me. A small on me will comfortably hold about 3. I’ll keep the medium, but for all others-small will do. I guess it just depends on what people prefer, a full bracelet of beads, or a few focal.
Take care! Hope your Thanksgiving break was a good one.
