It seems like lots of people have the teal glass beads from the upcoming Kindred Spirits Collection (affiliate link) as their favourites, but I really adore the Chances and Sweetness beads and wanted to try them out in different combinations. Here they are with the whole Enchanted Days Kit. Chances is second from the left and Sweetness is second from the right. I was interested to read about the designers, Tashi, Dhundup and Dolma and you can find that on the Trollbeads website here.
Here they are with a couple of Gold Silver Trace beads and a Black Onyx.
Since Chances has the criss cross pattern on the top I thought maybe I could add in a similar one from the Winter Wonder Kit. The glitter is actually different colours though, so it’s not the greatest combo.
What I really like the beads with is Pink Prisms. Then I added in the Blossom Shade and I quite love this look.
Next I made up a complete bracelet.
Here’s a closer look at the Water Lily Lock, Fantasy Hibiscus, Troll of Curiousity, Pink Prism, Spring Leaves and a White Pearl.
Starting at the top we have the Citrine Facet Tassel, Fairy of Nature, Pink Prism, Spring Leaves, White Pearl, Daydream Blossom, Moonlight Dancing, Gold Silver Trace, Chances, Feldspar Moonstone, Sweetness, Gold Silver Trace, Water Lily Family and Blossom Shade. (Then the rest are in the above photo.)
So, while it’s still early days for playing around with these two beads I must say that I love the big bracelet here. I think the Gold Silver Trace beads play off of the little bit of yellow in Sweetness. There’s a lot going on with the Chances bead but I think the Pink Prisms, White Pearls and Daylight Brilliance balance it nicely.
Finally, here are a couple of photos of a combo I wore on the weekend. What fun it is going to be playing with these beads!
Disclosure: For this blog I may receive some items as promotional samples.
Bonus photo-Roses for Mom, designed by Nozomi Kaji. Available March 3.
Hi Martha, I love this collection. I know you don’t think the bangle with the Second Chances and the Winter Wonderland bead is that good, but it is actually one of my favorites here. That and the one below it with the Pink Prisms. I wasn’t sure if I liked the Prism style beads when I first saw them, but the more I see them….! And I noticed you can get a set of them. There goes my wish list again! π

Ah! Suzanne, it just goes to show that everyone has different tastes! That’s what’s so fun about modular jewelry, isn’t it? Regarding the prisms, these are my first (and only) ones and of course now I’d like more. Many times I’ve looked at the set of them also. I think the next ones I have my eye on are a pair of the grey ones. They look like such a useful taupe colour that would blend in with a lot of things.

I was talking about the Grey Prism beads. I don’t have any but if you Google it then hit ‘images’ there are some live photos of them. They look like a fabulous neutral that would be very useful!

It is interesting to see the mother’s bead matches the spring collection so much… why else throw in an apricot rose in the cluster?

Plus, I don’t know if you collect X Jewellery, Mary, but those colours appear to be matching with the spring Trollbeads as well.
