Today sees the release of a couple of new Spiritbeads, both priced at 48€ each. The Spirit of Vietnam is super sweet and check out her braid! I will be so happy to take her Vietnam with me this summer. A Limited Edition, she is available to order only until April 10, 2018. I really like this idea though, as people can think about it for a couple of days and then place the order if they like.
The other new bead, Lotus Flower, is not a Limited Edition. This bead is absolutely incredible, in my opinion. The details on the leaves and flowers are just perfect.
It makes a perfect companion to the silver Sakura bead that has been out for a while.
I’ve started to make videos for YouTube so the beads can be shown from all angles. Please check out this one below and be sure to subscribe. I will likely do more videos than blog posts, we shall see. There’s one of the True Beadz Dangle of the Month and the next one will be of the Trollbeads Vine of Dreams, as it came in the mail today. I will likely buy another Lotus Flower as I can picture using them as a pair quite frequently!

Oh my she’s so lovely. I had passed on the previous Kokeshi Ltd editions but this is a definite buy for me. And just when I had worked out my bead budget for the month! 😄

Marisa, I understand about the bead budget. I get a lot of bead samples but still make purchases and there is just always something out there catching my eye. This little doll is so sweet that I’m sure you won’t regret buying her. 🌸

Hi Martha, My Asian-themed bracelet has been a very slow work in progress since I first started collecting about a year and a half ago. I don’t really like to mix brands, but I think I’ll have to in order to achieve what I’m going for. I just love your bracelet with the Blooming Sakura glass! I don’t usually care that much about having pairs, but I should have gotten a second one when I had the chance.

Hi Suzanne! I don’t get many glass beads in pairs either but this one belonged to my mom. The Trollbeads designed by Nozomi Kaji always sell pretty well, it seems to me. Did you have your eyes on the doll or the Lotus Flower bead?

I really like the idea of a limited edition that runs on pre-orders as well. That way it is still limited and every customer who wants one can have them. The lotus flower is so beautiful. The detail in the overlapping lily pads caught my eye.

I think the Limited Edition preorder run is smart. The only people who it doesn’t work for are collectors who discover a brand later, but that can’t be helped. 🤷🏻♀️

Right and bead companies don’t necessarily want a bunch of unsold older stock in their inventory storage spaces so it’s a win for them too.

Both lovely! I definitely want the lotus flower, and am on the fence about the other one. I don’t know anything about Vietnam except that we were in that awful war there 😦 ….. Don’t suppose the bead comes with a little flyer about Vietnamese culture… ?

I wouldn’t think so, but I do know that the Lotus Flower is the national flower of Vietnam. And that we are going out for Vietnamese food at a restaurant tonight! 😀
