Character Beads and Calming Colours

Today I’m booked to teach kindergarten so thought a fun bangle and a bracelet in soothing colours might be in order. Ha! Kindergarten can be exhausting, I must say. Next week there will be an awesome True Beadz giveaway here, so I also thought it a good idea to showcase some of the lovely True Beadz colours in the Linen, Castle Stone and Blue Mist shades. Tomorrow will be a recap (but new photos) of the Trollbeads Spacers as they will be available to buy then.

Anyway, the True Touch Marmor is the centrepiece of this bracelet. This is quite similar to another bracelet I made, but this time I’ve added in the Castle Stone.

Left to right are the Redbalifrog Hawaiian Floral Stoppers, Frangipanis Forever, Touch Linen, Taste Linen, Blossom Castle Stone, Redbalifrog Tree of Life and Taste Blue Mist.

Below we have RBF Tree of Life, Taste Blue Mist, Air Blue Mist, Touch Marmor, Blossom Blue Mist, Touch Blue Mist and Redbalifrog Fern Leaf.

Here’s the whole bracelet again. What I really love about these colours is how they blend so beautifully.

For the bangle I used the four Ohm Beads Ugly Dolls and the Teddy Scares Edwin Morose with the Earth-ish stoppers. As you’ve noticed, I often wear the Twisted Bangle without beads, like almost every day. But I see no reason why I shouldn’t keep the bangle like this for a while!

Here are the two bracelets together.

And for a combo I’m wearing the Trollbeads Leather Necklace with the Troll Anemone Pendant and the True Beadz True Air Linen, with a Pandora ring.

Disclosure: For this blog I may receive some items as promotional samples.

  1. I just love these colours together! I only have really bright colours but am now very much considering buying some calmer/ more natural colours as well. Beautiful bracelet Martha!

  2. What a lovely bracelet! I particularly like the Blue Mist beads. I think I’m going to have to add that color to my True Beadz wishlist, which I have to say is getting rather long. And you’re absolutely right that all of these soft soothing colors combine beautifully. I like the RBF silvers with them too. Hope this bracelet gives you a bit of serenity as you move through your day – sounds like you’ll need it! πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Kim! For a while I didn’t think I could like a colour more than Linen, but Blue Mist really is incredible. And I agree, the detail of the RBF silvers pairs really well with the solid colours. I shall keep this one together for a bit!

    1. Thanks April! Should be an interesting day. There are 100 volunteers at the school to spruce it up, so we have to have indoor recess all day. πŸ˜³πŸ˜…
