This blog post contains product samples as well as purchased items from True Beadz.
At the last True Beadz online event, I saw some beads that had me drooling. Someone else snapped them up before I could buy them (you know who you are!π) and so I asked Julia if they could be replicated in the Made to Order purchasing option. The beads had an ivory base with the Marmor coloured glass in a blossom. They are so beautiful!

I made up bracelet using glass beads, all in the Marmor colour.

The little boxes are so adorable. Right now I have beads in them in colour groups, so it makes it easy to find what Iβm looking for in order to make up a bangle or bracelet.

Julia was kind enough to include some other beads. This is the Happy 5 bead with a gold core and the Happy 5 Dangle. These are to celebrate 5 years of the True Beadz brand. The Happy 5 bead is still available with a silver core. The blue and white are so crisp looking.

One of the new silver beads is the coined shaped Labyrinth. As always, the details are beautifully executed.

The other new silver bead is called Motherβs Song.
All sorrows disappear, all troubles go always, all worries fade when you are back into that moment, when you hear her singing again, when you feel her kissing your forehead…
Hereβs a video showing what Motherβs Song looks like on a bangle:
I noticed three new glass beads on the website, in pink, blue and purple.

I tried the pink one with the Opal Blush glass beads, silver Lilac and silver Gerbera beads. This is so pretty!

Next I tried a blue bangle, using a couple of retired beads in the Eastern Sea colour (I think!) and then two silver True Bridge beads.

Finally, the purple bead matched well with Purple Dream glass and then I added two silver True Beadz 2017 beads.

I think that beads with gold flakes and CZ are pretty popular.

This duo of a glass bead and dangle is so pretty. I think this is the Princess Pink colour.

There were also some βsweetsβ beads. I see that some are still available on the website. Hereβs yet another Animal Crossing bangle with some cherries. π

The bead in the middle, below, has really captivated me and Iβve been wearing it a lot just by itself on a bangle.

These sweets below make me think of frosted cupcakes.

Lastly, I wanted to take a look at the etched beads. The Leaves bead and dangle are still available.

There will be two new ones coming out in the fall. I donβt know the names, but they are depicting maple leaves and wheat. The wheat one appears to have a rainbow dichroic glass and the maple leaves one has a burgundy dichroic glass. They are stunning and I found it hard to capture their beauty. Hereβs a video, which show them the best:
These colours really look nice together.

Here are the maple dangle and bead.

And here are the wheat dangle and bead.

Lastly, I want to show a video of a bangle using the Leaves beads.
Thatβs it for today! I have seen what people bought on Instagram and Facebook and it looks like there are some real beauties. I look forward to the next event that has the Made to Order beads and have started to write down combinations that I think might look nice. Iβd love to hear your thoughts about the Made to Order idea or anything else. Hope everyone is coping well these days!
These are so gorgeous! Your Marmor bracelet is lovely.
My bangle size is smaller and the Mother’s Song does not fit on it (I guess because the curve is steeper) but it looks great on yours! It’s so nice with the gold stoppers.
The Maple Leaf Red Bead is perfect for Canada and Autumn in general.
The boxes from this event are fantastic. It felt extra special opening them. π

Ah, yes, my bangle is a size Medium I think. Or maybe itβs a small, but I imagine yours is an XS? The boxes are so delightful and I agree that it makes opening the beads extra special.

What a lovely selection! It’s hard to pick a favorite but the Marmor on ivory are beautiful. I was slow to warm up to the sweets beads but they’re growing on me. I did buy one from the last event and really like it. Your pink berries is really cute. I’m liking the colors in the new dichoric beads too. I just got my package from April with gold and silver flecked beads last week. I’ll have to try to post photos this weekend. I like the little boxes too. I’ve been using mine to store earrings. I usually like long earrings but those don’t mix well with masks. So I had to dig out the few pairs of small ones I had (and buy a few more). The little True Beadz box is the perfect size for my small collection.

Kim, isnβt it funny how wearing masks has changed how we wear earrings and in my case, lip gloss! Glad your package from April has arrived! I feel like mail is moving better these days and letβs hope it keeps it up!

Some of these small adjustments have been strange, for sure. I’m going back into the office after working from home for three months. I don’t bother with makeup (I never wore much anyways), and rarely with jewelry beyond a small pair of earrings. Dress has been more casual too, but there’s a certain level below which I won’t go. I actually actively enjoyed wearing something beyond jeans and t-shirts the first week or so, lol. Strange times…

Fabulous review, and thanks for the sneak peek of the two dichroic beads…they are must haves for me, they are gorgeous! I love the made to order option, I too have been making a list and asking questions on IG posts so I get the colour combos right! I have blossoms, silver flakes and czs on my list already πand of course the ivory base with marmor flowers!!

My pleasure! I assume you saw Marisaβs Ink Blossoms on Ink? Be sure to look them up if you havenβt, as they are spectacular. It will be so fun to see what people get next!

You have such a lovely collection of beads Martha, I enjoy seeing how the gorgeous MTO beads work with the main collection.
I really liked the chance to create my own beads, and it’s great to see the different combinations that people come up with. If Julia keeps offering this option, it could become quite addictive π
Those two new dichroic beads are beautiful, and the bead boxes are such a sweet touch.
