Today I’ve got a short blog post with some pictures of the four new butterfly beads, designed by Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chophel. They are completely opaque, which I know will really appeal to some collectors. They each have a name, but I think of them by colour: Wings of Energy (orange), Wings of Success (green), Wings of Serenity (blue) and Wings of Passion (pink). Trollbead accidentally sent me the set two times, which is why I have doubles. Honestly, pairs of beads make it so easy to work with, so I’m not going to complain! Since these beads are pretty intricate and busy looking, I put them with simple black stones to make a complete bracelet.

The Dancing Butterfly Spacers are retired, so are likely hard to find, but I couldn’t help but use them to go with the glass beads. I did see them on the Trollbeads USA website yesterday, but not the Canadian website. By the way, I hope that Canadian collectors all got the email from the company explaining how orders will now be shipping from the USA, but that the company will be taking care of the duties. Always good to know for when shopping online!

A collector in a Facebook group suggested that the green and blue butterfly beads might go well with beads from the Enchanted Animal Kit from 2018. Indeed, I think they look great together. If you ever can’t find a bead because you don’t know the name, it works well to go to Beads>Glass, then select the Filter to search by colour. That’s how I found that the first bead on the left is called Topaz Tiger and the bead on the far right is called Emerald Tiger. The bead in the middle is the fabulous Milan Bead. I think it ties them together really well!

The orange butterfly bead is such a bright and happy colour. I thought the sweet little bee might enjoy being near it on a bangle.

Lastly, the pink butterfly is an awesome Barbie pink. (Can’t wait to see the Barbie movie!) These three photos show how I styled and enjoyed wearing them.

That’s it for today. What do you think of these beads? Do these catch your eye or are they not your thing? I’d love to hear your opinion!
