The Trollbeads Indian Cress bead from the Autumn Collection is rather a substantial piece. I shared some photos of it by itself on my Live Image Preview a couple of months ago and thought I’d like to try a few combos with it before we get into the winter season! I think it works really well on a leather necklace. It hangs really nicely and makes a great focal point.
Left to right below are Pumpkin Ornament, Soul of Sunshine, Soul of Flowers, Indian Cress, Nature Friendship, Soul of Waves and Quiet Flower.
The Indian Cress also works on a bangle. I’ve noticed on the Trollbeads website that they show some asymmetrical bangles, so thought I’d give it a try. Turns out I really like it! Left to right are the Sunbeam Spacer, Copper Spacer, Indian Cress, Soul of Sunshine, the Smoky Quartz Dangle, a Copper Spacer and Sweet Berries Spacer.
Then, here’s an all-out, everything-but-the-kitchen-sink bracelet.
Below left to right are Quiet Flower, Floral Wishes, Graceful Sky, Wise Bamboo, Mexican Sugar Skull, Citrine Facet Tassel, Nature Friendship, Soul of Flowers and the Calcite Rock.
Below left to right after the Calcite Rock are the Indian Cress, Soul of Sunshine, Feldspar Azurite Rock and the Soul of Waves.
Below left to right after Soul of Waves are the Smoky Quartz Facet Tassel, Chihuahua, Violet Stripe, Rainbow Bridge, Wild Flowers and Pumpkin Ornament.
Lastly, blog reader Suzanne mentioned she was thinking of getting the Indian Cress and Soul of Flowers to go with her Mexican Sugar Skull, so here they are on a bangle. I think they work nicely together!
And I made up a Fun Friday combo to go with it for a big night out at the local library book sale with @mcctrish. LOL!
So, I think this is a great piece of jewelry for both necklaces and bracelets and I appreciate the versatility. The designer, Louise Rimpler, also designed the Magic Bow, Double Bow and Love Goat for the Winter Collection and they also look to be very versatile and meant to be used in a different ways. We shall soon see! 😉
Coming up Wednesday are Cranium and Widget from the Ohm Beads Dark Shadows 3.0 Collection.
Disclosure: For this blog I may receive some items as promotional samples.
Of course I love the ” everything but the kitchen sink” bracelet, it fills my imagination with all things lovely and colourful and just so many gorgeous beads. The Soul of Flowers is top of my list when I go to our Trollbeads dealer today and although I do admire the Indian Cress bead, and really like it in all of your combos here, I think I will have to look at it in person before I finally commit…. oh no

I love it!!! Of course you know this means I’m going to have to get a twisted bangle now. Thank you so much for putting the bracelet together. I think it looks really good in the last photo where you’re wearing it with the other bracelets, too.

I didn’t think to ask you before, but in the last photo what is the bracelet in the middle? Is it one bracelet or more than one twisted together? Whatever it is, it’s good!

Oh, that’s three Trollbeads chains braided together! I put 3 on a lock, braid them, then fasten with another lock and then do it up by putting the locks together. Fun for a different kind of look!
